My fascination with furniture probably started as a child.  I remember my grandmother owned a gorgeous buffet.  As a child, I didn't have the appreciation for this piece of furniture, but I knew it was special.  I would sit there and run my finger over every scroll and just be so curious about every little handle and drawer............and so it began.

I painted my first piece of furniture about 12 years ago.  There I was, 8 months pregnant when I found what I thought was a Singer sewing machine on the side of the road.  Turned out… no sewing machine, just the bones with a homemade top.  : )  Now, what was I going to do with that hunk of junk in my trunk????  Paint it...............and so it began.
Motherhood kept me pretty busy and I didn’t have much time for painting furniture, but when the second nugget rolled around 8 years later, I got the itch to paint again and have been doing it ever since.  I'm done creating babies, so I'll just stick with redecorating furniture and hope it doesn't give me an itch to create another baby............................. ; ) ~Jenny
